[P]reparing for Your Visit
"The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today's work superbly well" - William Osler
As a courtesy to other patients, and in order to keep your medical provider on schedule, please help us by following these guidelines:
- Be familiar with your medical history and medications. If you are currently taking any medications, please bring them with you.
- Inform our reception staff when making your appointment if you are seeking to change or refill any medications.
- Inform the reception staff regarding all issues you need addressed when making your appointment so we can allow enough time for all your needs to be met. Please be aware that we may ask you to make separate appointments for multiple issues as directed by your medical provider.
- If you are unable to make your appointment, please notify us within 24 hours of the appointment time. On most days, our schedule is completely filled. By notifying us of any cancellations in advance, we can see patients with urgent or emergent needs in the empty time slot. We reserve the right to charge a nominal "no-show" fee as outlined in our financial policies if your appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours.
- Be patient. It is our priority above all else to ensure that all of our patients' needs are met. Sometimes unforeseen and serious issues can arise even during seemingly straightforward or routine appointments, which may put your medical provider behind schedule. Though we try to avoid this as much as possible, emergencies cannot be scheduled!

If you are coming in for lab work, please read our guidelines. If you are scheduled for a complete physical examination, please read our NPO guidelines.
