 Betty Burnett, C.R.N.P joined the ResponsiCareSM team in July 2008 bringing with her a vast array of compassion, and a heart of service for the people of Decatur, Morgan County, and surrounding areas.
Mrs Burnett Graduated from North West Alabama State Junior College in 1980 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. During her nursing career, Betty acquired 15 years of experience in Critical Care, Open-Heart Program, Home Health, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Mrs. Burnett has impressive research credentials as well, working as a clinical coordinator with phase III clinical trials in Rheumatology research.
Mrs. Burnett went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 2006 and Master's degree with emphasis in Family Medicine in 2008. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interests include Geriatric and preventive medicine, and a very strong desire to help others achieve optimum health with the goal of improved quality of life. Betty has a strong personal faith, and works everyday with conviction, knowing that this is her avocation and life's calling.
